Perhaps you already know that the interiors of paper cups are lined with a PE plastic coating to prevent the liquid from leaking or soaking through. But what you probably don't know is that this thin plastic coating prevents paper cups from being recycled like ordinary paper. Our parent company YFY, together with its SCI group and Chung Hwa Pulp company are developing a functional water-based coating less than 10um in thickness that can achieve the same sealability as plastic sealing film but can also be recycled.
